Married At First Sight's Ella Morgan shares big step in relationship with boyfriend

Ella Morgan is totally smitten with her new beau, Alex, after striking it lucky in love on Celebs Go Dating. Gracing the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards this week, Ella turned heads in a stunning pink ballgown complemented by a sparkling silver clutch.

As the first trans contestant on Married At First Sight UK last year, she made waves and has now continued to charm viewers on E4's sought-after celebrity dating series this season. After a spate of dating on the show, it was hairdresser Alex James who won her heart, and the couple have been in a bubble of bliss since.

Last month, Ella brought her other half along to the MAFS 2025 launch event, where she wasn't shy about showing off her phone screensaver - a romantic photo of the duo sharing a sweet kiss at the Pride of Britain, attended alongside her fellow star and good pal, Jay Howard.

Ella and Alex are still an item and have even exchanged 'I love you's since wrapping up the series. In her own words, Ella told the Mirror: "Life has been amazing since Celebs Go Dating. I've got my man.

"I love him. I literally love him." And looking ahead, she shared a glimpse into their future plans, saying: "We've talked about marriage, moving in and me meeting his son."

She revealed: "The show completely changed my love life. After 30 years, I finally have a boyfriend. I'm still in shock that it happened to me. I genuinely never thought I would meet someone after 10 years of not dating. I had started to think that I was the problem and I would always be lonely. Being trans, I have more struggles to contend with. I thought I would always be on my own."

Ella's perspective on romance was transformed by Alex. She added: "I'm really grateful I have found someone that I have an amazing connection with. It's not about being trans, it's not a fetish for him. We actually haven't even spoken that in-depth about it, and that's the first time for me with any guy I've dated. He just says, 'You're Ella to me' and I love it."

Viewers saw Ella and Alex's relationship blossom on the E4 series after their initial meeting at a retreat. When Ella fell ill and needed a break from filming, Alex showed his caring side by sending her flowers to cheer her up.

He later surprised her with a tattoo, leaving her astonished and ecstatic. A source revealed after the finale: "Ella and Alex have been inseparable since they met on Celebs Go Dating and have remained together since filming wrapped in July."
