Nancy Xu and Carlos Gu have reportedly stopped talking to one another behind the scenes on the BBC show.
The pair, who have known each other since childhood, are understood to have totally cut off from one another despite decades of friendship. Tensions were raised between them when Carlos wasn't given a partner for the ongoing series.
The Strictly Come Dancing pair are said to have been friends for since childhood. A Strictly insider told The Sun: "The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked. They've been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials."

The insider told the newspaper: "The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn't attend the show weeks ago." Nancy has been paired with ITV Coronation Street alum Shayne Ward for this series.
Another source told MailOnline that the pair are doing their best to "keep things professional" while at work. They said: "Carlos and Nancy are extremely cordial and always incredibly professional on Strictly premises."
Carlos previously spoke about not having a partner for this year's season during an appearance on the Monday Mile podcast, telling host Aimee Fuller: "Sometimes the decision is made [and it’s] not necessarily personal. It’s just because of the different perspectives, the different teams.
"Because we all want the show to look great. We all want this company, this production to look good." He went on: "So, nothing is really personal. I think as long as you start to understand that, some of the decisions aren’t personal to you.”
