In Amy's absence, Lauren Oakley, 33, will fill in to train and perform alongside JB Gill, 37, for this week's dance floor challenge. Her absence was conspicuous during Sunday night's broadcast, where hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly had to inform the viewers: "Before we get started, Amy isn't able to be with us for tonight's show." The scene saw JB standing solo on the iconic staircase, later offering a smile and a grateful "Thank you" amidst audience applause upon securing his spot for the next round.
