BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks's not so subtle dig at Craig Revel Horwood

Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks made a not so subtle dig at Craig Revel Horwood as he revealed he hadn't let his comments from last week go. The former TOWIE star took to the floor for a wicked Viennese Waltz to "That’s Life" by Frank Sinatra on Halloween week this Saturday night.

His routine saw him break out from behind prison bars dressed as Batman's The Joker. But after the dance before the judges critiqued his performance he couldn't resist taking a quick dig at Craig after the judge said he should of been disqualified from the competition for 'illegal' moves last week.

He told the judges: "The reason I was in jail is cause last week I did something illegal, so I got arrested for that." Last week Craig tore into their rumba.

He raved: "As for the lifts that is totally illegal. There were two lifts and one foot should remain on the floor at all times.

"Of course it's up to the professional if they want to lose marks for that. Of course you''ll be marked down for that and I think even a disqualification darling. I think you should follow the rules."

This week on the BBC show, Pete was given better praise from the Strictly Come Dancing judges. Although Craig said it was 'a little behind musically', he said the 'characterisation was formidable' and added 'you have grown brilliantly'. Anton du Beke said he thought it was his 'best dance of the series' and the 'breadth of movement was joyous'. He added: "It's not perfect yet but it was terribly, terribly good.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said it was 'no joke when it comes to the dancing'. She added: "I saw some lovely footwork, the frame I can really see you're trying to keep it up...when you play this back tonight you are going to be very, very proud of yourself like I am."
