Marks and Spencer restocks 'gorgeous' sell-out winter coat fans say 'brightens up any outfit'

M&S has restocked one of its best-selling winter coats and fans say it 'feels more like a £200 coat' and they 'get compliments every time' they wear it.

The Twill Single Breasted Relaxed Coat proved so popular when it first launched on the Marks and Spencer website this autumn that it quickly sold out in most sizes, however it's since been restocked in all sizes.

The forest green-coloured coat features a timeless single-breasted design with a smart collared neckline and two neat buttons at the front. Priced at £69, the warm piece also has two practical side pockets and comes in a relaxed fit, with enough room to comfortably wear chunky knits underneath when the winter chill hits.

Shoppers are sure to get lots of wear out of the classic coat during the colder months as the versatile design allows it to be worn day-to-day with casual or workwear fits, but it also looks elegant over occasion wear.

The Twill Single Breasted Relaxed Coat has received glowing reviews on the M&S website, with an average rating of 4.8 out of five stars. Customers praised the 'stunning' design, saying it looks more expensive than the price, while others raved about the 'gorgeous colour' that 'brightens up any outfit'.

Anna said: "Stunning coat. Can be worn for formal and informal occasions. Colour is amazing." Lou said: "Bought for the colour and I'm not disappointed. Lovely and soft and very comfortable to wear."

One shopper wrote: "Gorgeous fully-lined winter coat, and designed to be able to put a winter jumper on too." A fourth reviewer said: "Love the colour of my new coat and its warm. Perfect length can wear with long boots and ankle boots."

Some customers complained that the sizing came up big and urged others to size down, as one reviewer wrote: "Really pleased with the coat, lovely colour, material and fit but very big and had to go down a size."
