A 'stylish' Marks & Spencer cardigan has proved a hit with shoppers as it can 'dress up any outfit'. The 'fine knit' was 'in demand' and 'selling fast', with many saying it was 'just right for the holiday season'.

M&S said the Metallic Crew Neck Cardigan would "introduce some shimmer to your knitwear collection". Woven to a "figure-flattering slim fit", the "elegant" style fastened with a row of shiny buttons for "extra style points", with the ribbed-knit neck, collar and cuffs adding "fine finishing touches".

The £25 Metallic Crew Neck Cardigan comes in black or silver, with sizes six to 24 available. Customers said it 'fits true to size' and gave it an overall 4.6 rating in the review section.

One five-star reviewer described the Metallic Crew Neck Cardigan as a "fine knit" and added: "Stylish, lightweight to dress up any outfit. As it is slightly see through I went up a size so I can tuck in or leave out. Very pleased adds a bit of glamour to an outfit."

Pat's review of the Metallic Crew Neck Cardigan read: "Very pretty lightweight sparkly cardigan. Just right for the holiday season." Donna added: "This is a beautiful little cardigan. The colour is lovely with the sparkle running through it. I was a bit nervous because its a slim fit so I'm never sure of the sizing. I ordered a 16 (big boobs but skinny body) and it fits beautifully. I am thrilled with it."
