Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date, new maps, modes, and Zombies

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 1 is almost here and, while it delivers fresh content to the mainline game, it's a big deal for Warzone too.

When is the Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date? It’s almost time for Call of Duty’s annual cycle to reset once again as Treyarch has confirmed the BO6 Season 1 schedule. Alongside a “colossal” amount of new maps, modes, weapons, Zombies content, and more for Black Ops 6, it also ushers in a new era for Call of Duty Warzone.

We already know a little about the new Warzone map coming with the new season, which brings classic map Nuketown to the battle royale game for the first time. As for Black Ops 6, season 1 brings new multiplayer maps and modes and a new Zombies map, while a new Battle Pass will surely add new weapons to both games. Here’s what we know about Black Ops 6 Season one so far.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date

Treyarch has confirmed that the Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date will be Thursday, November 14 2024, bringing the first battle pass of the new game, new maps, modes, and more.

You’ve still got a couple of weeks to level up your weapons, figure out your best Black Ops 6 loadouts, and even hit a new BO6 Prestige before the season starts, and get a leg up on the competition when new content drops. So far, there has been no official confirmation of what’s to come, but we reckon details should arrive around November 7, so we’re keeping our eyes peeled this week.

When Black Ops 6 Season one arrives on November 14, it brings with is a “colossal amount of free content”, according to a Call of Duty blog post,  including new Multiplayer maps and modes, and a new Zombies map – we’re keeping our fingers crossed for even more Nuketown content.

Warzone Season 1

Speaking of Nuketown, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 also means a new season of Call of Duty Warzone. While the Black Ops 6 Battle Pass also crosses over to with Warzone, this will be the first appearance of the new BO6 Omnimovement to the free PC game, and Black Ops 6 weapons and loadouts can be used in Warzone from November 14.
