Photos show the incredible fireworks display in Runcorn last night (November 3). People gathered to watch the spectacular show over the River Mersey beside the Silver Jubilee Bridge on Sunday.

Every year crowds gather across Merseyside to watch the firework extravaganzas across the region on Bonfire Night and Runcorn fireworks did not disappoint this year. Photographer, Stephen Jones, has shared pictures with the ECHO from last night's stunning display. The pictures show dozens of explosions above the Silver Jubilee Bridge in a ray of different colours.

But don't worry if you did miss the display as Birkenhead will be holding a massive community bonfire in Ilchester Park on November 5 from 6pm to 10pm, with the bonfire expected to be lit at around 6.30pm. There will be music, DJs and food vans on site, as well as a first aid hut. Sadly however, the fireworks display in Liverpool has been cancelled this year.
