Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks reveals 'absolutely ridiculous' tattoo after mishap

Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks has spoken about a 'ridiculous' tattoo he ended up with following an unexpected moment.

The former TOWIE star and Staying Relevant podcast host and his professional partner Jowita Przystal have been hard at work rehearsing, gearing up to hit the dance floor for this Saturday's Halloween week performance on October 26.

Pete recounted how a quirky misadventure led to him have an 'absolutely ridiculous' tattoo, prior to their much-anticipated spooky act.

Discussing whether he had ever encountered anything supernatural, the television star confessed: "I don't know. I don't necessarily believe but I also don't definitely disbelieve."

Delving into the tattoo tale, he disclosed: "I have got a ghost tattooed on me. I used to present a podcast called Just a Little Prick about tattoos and interviewed tattoo artists whilst they tattooed me. And the tattoo artist who did the ghost was apparently the oldest working artist in the world."

Further elaborating on the encounter, Pete mentioned: "He was 93 and I expected him just to be doing like a little tattoo or something like that so I let him do whatever he wanted.

"But I didn't realise it was going to be Casper the Friendly Ghost, who looks like a fat baby. It is absolutely ridiculous."

All this comes on the heels of his rumba routine from last weekend with Przystal, dancing to Oasis's 'Don't Look Back in Anger' and showcasing a 'wet' appearance. At the time, Pete acknowledged not being fond of the dance, and the duo scored a modest 22 points.

Despite scoring low, they've sailed right through to tonight's much-anticipated Halloween special, transforming into the Joker and Harley Quinn in a Viennese Waltz choreographed to Frank Sinatra's classic "That's Life."

It appears their dedication is unwavering. The pair were still dancing away at 10pm on Thursday (October 24), ensuring they're in top form for their performance.

Pete shared an update during their rehearsal via Jowita's Instagram Story, expressing his weariness with: "It's 10 o'clock on a Thursday and we've just finished training and Jowita has a surprise for me... I got quite excited until I saw what it was.."

Subsequently, Jowita donned a silver mask, covering only her nose and mouth, and began to dance around Pete.

Amidst her festive antics, a bemused Pete remarked: "She's been dancing like that for the past 15 minutes which has been a struggle. Look at the... Go away you weird, weird borrower."
