Strictly fans ask for Vito Coppola 'to be protected at all costs' after heartfelt gesture

Strictly Come Dancing's fans have been rushing to praise Vito Coppola after Dianne Buswell's heartfelt revelation brought tears to their eyes.

The two pros, who are gearing up for a joint UK tour next year, are both vying for the glitterball trophy in the current series of BBC One's dance contest with their celebrity partners, Sarah Hadland and Chris McCausland respectively.

But beyond the dazzle and drama of the live shows, fans of the series love a peek behind the scenes, and it was Dianne who dropped the latest heartwarming tidbit via her social media update.

Dianne caught Australian-born Star Vito on camera as he proudly disclosed that he had lugged his personal stove top over to the studios. However, it wasn't just about the stove; Vito toted all his cooking gear to keep a heartfelt promise to Chris.

Dianne is heard saying Vito has made a homemade bolognese but Vito interrupts to share more details about his latest creation in the kitchen, which comes weeks after viewers saw him winning Celebrity MasterChef 2024, which he said he'd been lovingly making until 2am that morning reports the Manchester Evening News.

"Honestly Vito, you are genuinely one of a kind!" Dianne said before Vito packed up and headed off to the food area where he could set up. Dianne then filmed him in action, during which he struggled to figure out how to use the stove after he had bought it especially for that occasion and it arrived the previous day.

After plating up his meal, he took the dish to Chris in his dressing room. The comedian, with a grin, queried, "Is this my Deliveroo? " as Dianne informed him that Vito had meticulously prepared a special meal.

Impressed by the gesture, Chris said while embracing Vito, "My goodness man," and then asked, "Do you like it? " to which Chris responded: "Delicious!"

Dianne posted: "The perks of being friends with the MasterChef winner. So Vito asked Chris in a conversation what his favourite meal was Chris said I love a bolognese ... the following week this happened @chrismccauslandcomedy."

The heartwarming gesture earned Vito heaps of admiration from fans online. One fan exclaimed: "Protect Vito at all costs! What an absolute gem of a human being."
