Reports in October suggest that Coleen Rooney has agreed to participate in this year's series for a "record breaking fee". The wife of Wayne Rooney is said to be a massive fan of the show, so producers are reportedly thrilled that she's signed on the dotted line.

Scottish football icon Ally McCoist is reportedly in "advanced talks" with producers to feature on the 2024 series. The pundit has previously declined the show twice, but could 2024 be his time?

Following his fifth Olympic medal win at the Paris 2024 Olympics, diver Tom Daley announced his retirement from the sport post-games, and it's rumoured that ITV bosses are eager to sign him up. Reports also suggest that N-Dubz star Tulisa is "in talks" to join the line-up in a bid to reignite her TV career.

After their surprising split last August, there's speculation around Tommy Fury following his break up with Love Island partner Molly-Mae Hague, potentially joining the cast of the 2024 series. A Ladbrokes spokesperson commented: "Reality TV chiefs will surely be queuing up to snap up Molly-Mae or Tommy following their shock split, and the odds suggest the latter could well be jungle-bound later this year."

With Giovanni Pernice recently leaving Strictly Come Dancing, it's rumoured that he's on the radar for next year's series, with reports from Mail Online indicating a substantial offer of £100,000 could be in play to secure his participation.

In related rumours, Jane Moore, well-known for her stint on Loose Women and recent separation from her long-time husband, Gary Farrow, is said to be gearing up for an adventure in the Australian wilderness.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain's weather presenter Alex Beresford has hinted at his own aspirations for a jungle challenge. Expressing his desires to the Mirror, he revealed: "Out of all the shows I would love to do, I would love to do the jungle."

And not to be left out, Harry Clark, victorious from The Traitors series two, seems keen on the show, already admitting on Lorraine in early July his interest in participating in the 2024 series.

Last year saw Sam Thompson taking the title King of the Jungle, leaving viewers eager to find out who might be next to claim the crown after him.
