Jeff Brazier has made a heartbreaking admission about parenting his two children without the late Jade Goody.

The TV presenter, 45, who had two sons with the late Big Brother star, opened up about solo parenting to Laura Hamilton on a recent episode of the Mile Fly Club podcast (September 15th).

Jeff competed in Race Across the World with his son, Freddy, this year, tackling a gruelling trek from Belem in Brazil to Frutillar in Chile alongside three other celebrity duos, which was discussed earlier in the episode.

However, when the conversation turned to his other son, Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier, Jeff offered a heartfelt admission about their mother, who tragically passed away from cervical cancer in 2009.

Jeff said: "We all know that he's Jade's son and we're all incredibly proud of her for, you know, bringing him into the world."

He continued: "I know I had a little bit to do with that, but let's face it, it's all about the mum. So yeah, that's why that was particularly important. I was pleased that he had done that."

Laura replied: "Aw, that's such a lovely thing to say; like, it's all about the mum. It's not all about the mum, though, is it?"

Jeff continued: "It is all about the mum. It is; we could do without dads." He went on to say: "We can do without dads, but we would struggle if we haven't got the mum. That's my experience.

"Yeah, dads can be unbelievable. Dads can be the...I think dads can be enough, but a mum is always enough without question. Is that that shocking a statement?"

Jeff went on to say women "run the world" or they "should do" and that we're "all much safer" when women are in charge. He said there's "less ego" and women have a "greater capacity" for making decisions that aren't based on "self-interest".

In the same podcast, Jeff offered insights into his experience during the hard years that followed his former partner's death, who passed away at the age of 27. At the time, Bobby was five and Freddy was four, reports the Mirror.

He explained that he wasn't in a relationship with Jade when she died and "didn't feel" like he had the "right to make it about me in the slightest".

Jeff, who was then working on This Morning, went on to reveal that his mum and aunt were "incredible" when it came to supporting him as he raised his two children.

He added: "I remember just thinking this is amazing that my mum can do the school drop and I'll always be home to pick them up, and I know a lot of kids wouldn't see their parents that much.

"But I knew there and then that that was a sacrifice that I was gonna have to make, in that it wasn't about working all the hours. In fact, I I made sure that I didn't do that."
