So...Why Isn't ‘Agatha All Along’ Coming Back for Season 2? Here's What to Know About the Potential for an Extra Season

Is Agatha All Along really only getting one season?

As we already know, Agatha All Along is just a small part of Marvel's giant plan for the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And while the finale episode did give us a lot to think about when it comes to the future of the series. At least one thing is for sure: we can't get enough of Agatha. So will we actually get to see the iconic witch again? Or did we just say goodbye to her one last time as she finished the trials of the Witches' Road and set off to get what she's wanted all along? Well, if you're reading this, then you kind of know how it ends already. But we're still hoping for more.

Here's what we know about why Agatha All Along isn't coming back for a season 2.

Unlike Agatha who basically decided to walk down the Witches' Road again, we sadly, don't get to pick whether or not we get to see more of Agatha All Along. The series was always created as a miniseries, so just like its predecessor WandaVision, it's a one and done deal. We have seen some other shows get some extra seasons recently, but considering how tightly planned the MCU is already, we would be really surprised if it got a special renewal.

What are the chances of getting a surprise season with Agatha All Along season 2?

Unfortunately for us, it's really low. Marvel has already announced their slate for 2025 and Phase 5 is pretty much complete in its planning. Plus, Marvel tends to plan things out many years in advance, so if it wasn't in the cards before, then it certainly is not now. That being said, there's definitely more to look forward to in other ways, especially with how many projects are already in the works. Oh, and the series ending also gave us some clue as to some major updates happening soon!

But is this the last time we'll see Agatha? What about Billy?

Now there's the big question! Considering that *spoiler alert* Agatha is now serving as Billy's spirit guide, there's definitely a strong chance that she'll be back. Also, Billy still has to go find his brother whose soul is now occupying an unknown body. Whether their journey will be a movie, a series, or something else completely different in the MCU still hasn't been revealed. But hopefully they hear our spell and reveal all soon, especially since we didn't get a post-credit scene to help us figure it out.
