This Morning viewers slammed the show over a "poor taste" Donald Trump segment on the ITV show.

Today, hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley interviewed an actor called John Di Domenico who was pretending to be Donald Trump. For the first part of the segment, they chatted with the man as if he was Trump.

However, angry fans found the segment uncomfortable and fumed at the show for making fun of the US election, which saw Trump win over Kamala Harris. Horrified viewers took to social media to fume at the programme.

One wrote: "#ThisMorning ridiculous and not at all funny ! Go away nobody is enjoying this rubbish," whilst a second added: "Aren't the producers wondering why #ThisMorning hasn't won an NTA for the second year running?"

A fifth added: "Good grief, what the hell has happened to #ThisMorning." A sixth wrote: "The thing is ……..Trump as president really isn’t funny #thismorning."
