Strictly Come Dancing welcomed a Halloween-themed live show as the competition reached week six, and 11 celebs once again tried to bowl over the judges. However, viewers were left distracted by Aljaž Škorjanec's outfit during his spooky routine.

The pro dancer and celeb partner Tasha Ghoruri danced a samba to the song I Like to Move It by Reel 2 Real. The pair's theme was Frankenstein, as Aljaž's face was painted green, teamed with a huge quiff hairstyle, and bolts stuck to each side of his neck to mimic the fictional monster.

However, only seconds into their routine, one of Aljaž's bolts dropped off his neck. After their dance was finished, the second bolt fell off, and Strictly fans thought it was hilarious.

Taking to X, one wrote: "Aljaž losing both his neck bolts from sweating is so funny to me #strictly."

A second added: "Aljaz has a bit of a screw loose. Seriously. He’s missing one after his dance. And he’s about to lose another. #SCD #Strictly", while a third added: "Aljaz has lost a bolt," followed by a shocked face.

Despite the mishap, the couple received a score of 37 points, making it the highest Halloween samba ever and top of the leaderboard.

Speaking about the routine, Shirley said they: "combined character and technique, very impressive."

JB Gill was nearly sent packing last week after surviving the dreaded dance-off against ex-footballer Paul Merson. But according to the bookie's latest odds, it is Dr. Punam Krishan who is the favorite to be eliminated this week at 2/1.

Sam Quek is second at 7/2, while Pete Wicks currently sits at 5/1. Meanwhile, comic Chris McCausland and partner Dianne Buswell are still favourites to win Strictly, and their odds of elimination have lengthened from 200/1 to 250/1 despite fewer couples remaining in the contest.

The Strictly Come Dancing live show airs every Saturday on BBC One and iPlayer with the results show following on Sunday
