Brittany Mahomes has posted a touching message to her husband Patrick Mahomes on his 29th birthday, as the couple appeared to put rumors of a rift to bed

Brittany Mahomes has lovingly wished her hubby, Patrick Mahomes, a joyous 29th birthday as the NFL star enjoys a stellar start to the 2024 season with the Kansas City Chiefs, boasting a 2-0 record.

Since tying the knot in 2022, the couple now share two children, Sterling and Patrick, and are excitedly expecting their third. "Happy Birthday to one of the greatest humans ever, my husband, best friend and the best daddy ever! " she gushed on Instagram. "We are so grateful you are ours! We Love Youuuuuu."

The Instagram tribute featured a series of adorable snaps showcasing the couple's blissful life with their young and expanding brood. Brittany went all out for the occasion, decking their home with an extravagant balloon display.

Among the guests was none other than Taylor Swift, the pop icon dating Pat Mahomes' Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce, quashing any speculation of a feud. Last season saw Brittany and Swift often side by side as the Chiefs clinched consecutive Super Bowl victories.

However, this season has seen a change, with the pair not spotted together at Chiefs games, including the recent nail-biting 26-25 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead. The rumour mill spun into overdrive when Mahomes liked a policy picture of former President Donald Trump on Instagram, while Swift is known for her support of Vice President Kamala Harris, sparking talk of a potential rift.

However, it's reported that Brittany is reconsidering her support for the ex-President after he expressed his dislike for Swift, following her endorsement. A source revealed to Mail Online: "This deeply bothered Brittany because Taylor is like a sister to her and she has done absolutely nothing wrong. She didn't mention Trump in her post and is allowed to speak her mind."

Swift was snapped at the event alongside fellow Chiefs WAGs Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby, who are partners of Chiefs stars, Mecole Hardman and Chris Jones. The trio took to the photo booth for some snaps, which were later posted on social media.

Kelce's performance in 2024, and for much of 2023, hasn't been up to his usual standard, though. The tight end has only managed four catches and 39 receiving yards this year.

He gained just five yards against the Bengals, marking his least productive game since Pat Mahomes became the Chiefs' starting quarterback. "They're doing a great job of just kind of having two people for him," Mahomes commented on the Bengals' coverage of Kelce. "Pretty much the entire game."
