Coronation Street spoilers tease legend returns, Carla and Lisa romance and danger ahead

Coronation Street spoilers for next week hint at some major twists on the ITV soap from Swarla questioning their feelings, to Tracy Barlow's return teased and there's danger for multiple characters

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed there's big moments ahead on the ITV soap next week for more than one resident.

There's danger ahead for at least three characters, including a hospital dash for a soap legend. It's teased there's a return on the way too, while a worrying discovery rocks one member of the Platt family.

There's an emotional confession, new Swarla scenes and trouble for one teen. Next week will see the fallout of Joel Deering's killer being revealed to viewers, with it not yet confirmed if those on the Cobbles find out too.

Dee-Dee Bailey is in a bad way and is suffering from nightmares. As she later has a meltdown, a struggling Dee-Dee confides some shocking news in pal Sarah Platt.

But what is she hiding? There's another discovery when Shona Platt finds out her son Clayton's prison has been sending her emails which have made their way into her junk folder.

Amid Clayton's hospital dash and David Platt lying to wife Shona about the prison making contact, Shona is keen to see her son. But when Clayton refuses to let her visit him when he regains consciousness, David hides his relief hoping he won't be found out.

There's the possible blossoming romance for Carla Connor and DS Lisa Swain next week too, as Carla finally tells her her true feelings. After Lisa wakes up on Carla’s sofa with a hangover, Carla admits to Ryan Connor that she has feelings for her but she’s out of her depth.

Ryan urges her to go for it and when Carla returns home to find Lisa getting dressed, she's left torn over whether to reveal all or not but will she make a move? Swain is later left horrified as she realises she's missed a message from daughter Besty who is in danger.

Betsy is confronted by Mason Radcliffe's brothers and they steal her phone. With Lisa getting a message from Betsy saying she's in trouble, will she find her in time?

Tim Metcalfe also faces danger at the hands of the villains, as Mason lies that it was Tim who grassed them up to the police. Logan orders Tim to park up his cab, and Matty climbs in making it clear they’re going to teach him a lesson - but will he be okay?

There's another character sparking concern next week too, which could lead to a fan favourite returning. Ken Barlow decides he cannot afford to hire Cassie Plummer any longer as his carer.

After he lets her go, he's left feeling unwell and offers Cassie her job back clearly changing his mind. But the spoilers reveal that Ken's daughter Tracy Barlow is back after her recent exit, and Tracy orders Cassie to sling her hook and stop sponging off Ken.

There's only images of Tracy's daughter Amy Barlow, but the spoilers state that Tracy is back and adamant she will look after her father. But when Ken suffers a nosebleed and admits he feels awful, they head to hospital - but is he okay?

Finally next week Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby are almost caught out as they once again give into passion.
