by Seamus Duff · The MirrorColeen Rooney has celebrated her eldest child's latest birthday - ahead of her trip to Australia to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 38-year-old WAG is a proud mother-of-four - sharing sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass with her 39-year-old football legend husband Wayne Rooney. Over the weekend, Kai celebrated his latest birthday - and his mum took to Instagram to share a collection of photos of him alongside a touching tribute.
She typed: "Happy 15th birthday @kairooney.10 … I love you so much and you make me burst with pride," and she added a blue heart emoji. Coleen shared a snap of herself hugging Kai on a beach as they both smiled for the camera, while a second image showed Coleen posing beside her son while he was asleep on a plane.
She then shared a black and white photo of them together, followed by a family snap that included dad Wayne and brothers Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and five-year-old Cass. Five further images showed Coleen and Kai on various trips together. Her post prompted a wave of replies from fans and admirers who joined her in wishing her eldest son a happy birthday.
Coleen won't have much more time to spend with her children before she jets off Down Under to be one of the contestants in the 2024 season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The WAG has been offered the biggest payment of any star to ever take part in the show, according to reports.
Politician Nigel Farage, who took part in the 2023 season, had been awarded the highest reported payment when he took part - bagging a rumoured £1.5 million pay. However, it is suggested that Coleen's cheque to participate will exceed this amount - with fans hoping she might drop details of her explosive court case against Rebekah Vardy during her time in the jungle.
Love Island star Maura Higgins, N Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, McFly star Danny Jones, and Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse are also rumoured to be taking part in the upcoming 24th season of ITV's long-running reality show. Show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have promised fans that the final line-up for the 2024 season will be instantly iconic.
They declared in a social media post: "If we had to describe this year’s lineup in 10 words? Good. Very good. Really good. Brilliant. Yes. Yes. Yes. YES. #ImACeleb." While a show source previously told The Sun: "As always, the jungle bosses have cleverly put together a sensational line-up guaranteed to make for compulsive viewing."
ITV's return to the jungle is just two weeks away, with the launch show expected to air on Sunday 17 November. It is believed 12 celebrities in total will take part in the show which will see them endure Bushtucker Trials to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
