A pub has introduced a strict new dress code, leaving some punters less than impressed.

The Wobbly Goblin in Teesside announced its new policy on Sunday evening, which includes a ban on anyone wearing designer Christian Louboutins or Ugg boots worth over £500.

Additionally, revellers with head, neck or face tattoos will not be permitted entry into the late bar and nightspot on Park Terrace.

The Stockton pub took to Facebook to inform customers of the nine new rules, but the post was met with more than 200 comments, many of them critical.

The new dress code for The Wobbly Goblin, as listed on the bar's Facebook page, includes bans on big boss logos, gilet jackets, bubble trainers, big rings/big chains, sliders/flip flops (unless raised off the floor), Christian Louboutins, ugg boots/ugg shoes, and a requirement that big puffers must be placed in the cloakroom.

One person commented on the post, saying she "used to go in here after work on a weekend a lot of years ago and the best part of the wobbly was the edgy people in there!"

Other users added "good luck with that" and "that's hilarious", reports Teesside Live.
