Adulting can often feel like an endless cycle of chores and life admin, and let’s be honest, few tasks are as mundane as tackling that mountainous laundry pile. However, there's good news for those who loathe the dreaded chore of putting clothes away, as a brilliant hack has emerged to take the pain out of the process.

A popular post on social media platform X by Today Years Old showcased a nifty solution that's catching people's attention. The eye-opening video has already racked up more than 305,800 views and 1,800 likes since being shared this month.

Viewers are shown how to fold a sweater neatly by rolling and tucking the sleeves, demonstrated by a man in the clip. It doesn’t stop there - the video also shows methods for folding jeans and even a puffy jacket effectively, potentially creating more wardrobe space and cutting down on creases, reports the Daily Record.

Everyone is always on the lookout for clever ways to save space and this method is particularly appealing. For those new to the art of clothes folding, it might be time to check out this two-minute game-changer.

It certainly has been a hit online, with one admirer commenting: "Dude is a magician." Another person expressed relief, saying: "My mess in the room will be cleared now. Thank you."

Meanwhile, a third user found it practical, remarking: "Good informative. It will be useful when you're flying." A fourth admitted: "Excellent, I'm a huge fan of ironing my clothes, folding them and then having to iron them again before wearing due to there being more creases than before I ironed them the first bloody time."

Some critics, however, labelled the technique as unnecessarily time-intensive. One individual remarked: "If people have the time in their lives to do this, then they must be getting up too early in the morning."

Another joined in, suggesting an alternative: "After doing this, your clothes will be well creased up, much better to hang clothes. A lot less creases."
