by Joseph Kime · The MirrorFortnite Remix Chapter 2 is almost here to record-scratch the island to pieces – here's when you can expect the new season to begin.
It’s almost time to bear witness to the next great Fortnite event, and it’s going to be a very, very big deal. It’d take something spectacular to do justice to the immense Chapter 5 Season 4 and Fortnitemares 2024 event that we’ve just had the joy of experiencing, and it looks like Epic Games is willing to deliver before it plunges players into Fortnite Remix Chapter 2. The throwback season is going to be a blast for players, but we need to bridge the gap with an event first, and it looks like we’re in for a musical treat with Fortnite Remix The Prelude live event – however, it's what comes after that's bound to be the bigger deal – a return to the OG formula with a fresh new twist, packed with old-school skins and a classic playstyle that harkens back to 2019.
Even so, we’re expecting that there are going to be a lot of surprises waiting for us in the new season, from new skins remixing characters together to a return to the classic map that players know and love, and thankfully, it’s not far off now. Get your Marvel Battle Pass finished and conclude your Fortnitemares quests, because a massive change is about to hit Fortnite. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 start time.
Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 start time
The Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 start time is expected to be 11am GMT / 7am EDT / 4am PDT on Saturday, November 2. This is the best guess that anyone has about the start time of the season without confirmation from Epic Games, as the current Battle Pass page indicates that the Chapter 5 Season 4 end date will be Saturday, November 2 at 6am GMT / 2am EDT, and Friday, November 1 at 11pm PDT.
The last season-to-season downtime took five hours to complete, so if we’re to experience a similar-sized update, this time tracks for the game. Of course, this is a time subject to change, especially considering that Fortnite postponed its Fortnitemares downtime by a whole day, indicating that there’s a chance the downtime itself could be extended. We’ll have to wait and see what comes of it, but we’re willing to bet it’ll be worth the wait.
