This is the best guess that anyone has about the start time of the season without confirmation from Epic Games, as the current Battle Pass page indicates that the Chapter 5 Season 4 end date will be Saturday, November 2 at 6am GMT / 2am EDT, and Friday, November 1 at 11pm PDT.

The last season-to-season downtime took five hours to complete, so if we’re to experience a similar-sized update, this time tracks for the game. Of course, this is a time subject to change, especially considering that Fortnite postponed its Fortnitemares downtime by a whole day, indicating that there’s a chance the downtime itself could be extended.
