As well as its traditional ‘Holidays Are Coming’ adverts, the soft drink company has been touring its beloved festive red trucks across the UK for a number of years now
by Ryan Fahey · The MirrorCoca-Cola has released brand new details ahead of its annual Santa truck tour and the much-anticipated airing of its iconic Christmas advert.
The fizzy drinks giant has promised a "bigger and better" event this year, adding that the tour will take place in a "magical winter wonderland setting". If anything indicates the coming of Christmas, it's Coca-Cola's "Holidays Are Coming" adverts which appear on TV and in supermarkets ahead of the big day, and its iconic truck tour.
Each year, townspeople, villagers and city dwellers across the British Isles pour onto the streets to welcome the soft drink company's beloved festive red trucks. This year, the company says its message is a simple one - that the "World Needs More Santas" as it focuses on "the ambition to make kindness travel".
They are calling on attendees young and old to "embrace their inner Santa" and "share an act of kindness with others during the festive season". Visitors to the truck stops will be dazzled with the "canopy of twinkling lights and festive music" as Santa and his elves put on a number of festive games and a lucky dip to win Coca-Cola merch. In addition to the iconic red truck will be another vehicle serving seasonal fare, with guests invited to take "that perfect seasonal selfie in front of the iconic red truck".
In keeping with the charitable theme this year, the company will be supporting FareShare, which fights against hunger and food waste. Coke will be donating a meal to someone who needs it for every person that attends. They expect to donate one million meals.
Florence Wheatley, Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola Great Britain Coca-Cola, said: “Coca-Cola has and remains synonymous with Christmas, with many people eagerly awaiting the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert to create a little festive magic.
“This year, we’re delighted to continue our relationship with FareShare to support its mission to reduce hunger and surplus food waste. We hope that every person that attends the Truck Tour not only experiences the magic of Coca-Cola Christmas, but also supports FareShare, knowing that the equivalent of a meal has been donated on their behalf, acting as a little moment of kindness to ensure that thousands of people across the country enjoy a more meaningful Christmas.”

Coca-Cola’s generous support for FareShare is instrumental in helping people affected by the cost-of-living crisis. This support means charities can unite more people through food to form connections and access essential support services. Thank you for helping FareShare make the food go further.”
