Billi Mucklow ditches her wedding ring as she celebrates first birthday without Andy Carroll

Billi Mucklow looked as though she was starting to put the past behind her after she posted a picture of herself to celebrate her birthday following her split from Andy Carroll

Newly single Billi Mucklow looked as though she was starting to navigate her way through life as a single mum, after she shared a picture of herself with fans, to celebrate her birthday.

And for the first time she was seen without her wedding ring. The former TOWIE star, who turned 37, and footballer Andy Carroll announced that they has ended their two year marriage in September. And just last month he publicly showed off his new relationship with make-up artist Lou Teasdale.

Meanwhile Billi appeared in good spirits as she stood in front of a few balloons and a birthday message. Wearing a black t-shirt with a matching sarong, Billi smiled for the camera while holding a glass of champagne. She captioned the post saying: "chapter 37."

And fans rushed to comment. One person said: "Beautiful lady and beautiful mum." Another person wrote: "Happy birthday have a good day xx" And a third person commented: "Happy Birthday Billie, you look amazing." Last month, the former Newcastle United player, who is now dating Harry Style's pal Lou, made his relationship public for the first time since dating.

The couple attended a star-studded Halloween party that drew in a number of celebrities including Laura Whitmore, Keith Lemon, Lottie Moss, Joel Dommet and former X Factor star Diana Vickers. Andy came dressed as NFL star Travis Kelce, while Lou came dressed as Taylor Swift. Stopping for waiting photographers, Andy is seen leaning down and wrapping his arms around Lou's waist.

Its been reported that Billi is aware of his new-found romance. Andy and Billi secretly split back in July but he only announced he was filing for divorce in September. Earlier this month, it was revealed that the footie star hade started dating Lou. After the Hallozeem bash, the pair were seen holding hands as they left the party.

Billi and Andy's marriage appears to have been doomed from the start as the star was pictured with two women in his bed, while on his stag do in Dubai. After the pictures of the drunk sportsman were posted on social media, Billi removed her £200,000 engagement ring and moved out of their Essex pad. The reality chose to forgive Andy when Taylor Jane Wilkey, who was one of the women pictured on the bed assured Billi that nothing happened.

The bar manager publicly apologised for the pictures and remained adamant that they did not have sex. She told The Sun at the time: "I'm sorry, Billi, I know how it looks, but we didn't have sex. She needs to know nothing sexual happened between me and Andy, I swear. He was a gentleman, he just had so much to drink and passed out on the bed. He didn't try anything — and even if he had wanted to, he was too drunk.

Another strain on their relationship was when he was declared bankrupt in the summer. The former Newcastle United player had joined Bordeaux in France, who play in the fourth division of the French league. This was a huge professional drop for Andy who played in the premiere league.

Andy recently revealed that it is costing him to play in Bordeaux while Billi stays in their former marital home. While at Newcastle, Andy was reportedly earning £23,000 a week and had £10million in savings. Now he is earning an estimated £750 a week in France.
