Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 has been a fascinating event for the battle royale title, not only has it has delivered on letting players embrace the game’s past and return to the stylings of the game’s second chapter that began in 2019, there’s also something a little different. As part of the Remixed aesthetic, classic skins have been altered with their own strange collaborative and gender-swapped changes in the Remix Battle Pass, and now a litany of rappers have taken over the game as announced in the Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 roadmap, with Snoop Dogg dominating the Compound and Eminem appearing as an NPC in his own restaurant.
It’s a deeply strange alteration to make, but with Fortnite’s fingers in every pop culture pie, it’s hard to say that something like this never should have happened. It does still keep players engaged, though, and now the next weekly alteration to the game’s map is coming – and it’s coming with rap’s princess herself – Ice Spice. Not only is she coming as a skin, but also as an NPC and the headliner of Shark Island. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Ice Spice release time, and where you can find her on the Fortnite map.
Fortnite Ice Spice release time
Ice Spice will be coming to Fortnite at 7pm EST / 4pm PST on Thursday, November 14, or 12am GMT on Friday, November 15 for those in the UK. This is according to leaker @ShiinaBR, who took to Twitter to reveal the news via a tweet. They also revealed that the following cosmetics will be available as part of the Ice Spice drop, in both the Tweet and a video on YouTube:
- Rap Princess Ice Spice Outfit – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Ice Spice Mini Back Bling – Included with Outfit
- Ice Spice Outfit – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Munchkin Back Bling – Included with outfit
- In Ha Mood Emote – 500 V-Bucks
- Oh Shhh Emote – 500 V-Bucks
- 2 Jam Tracks – Price TBC
- A new Microphone – 800 V-Bucks
It’s a lot of cosmetics to brace for, which is good news for Ice Spice’s dedicated fans – and for 2,800 V-Bucks all-in, it’s not much to be sniffed at. Picking up this many V-Bucks is a pretty simple deal, as a 2,800 V-Bucks bundle is available from the in-game shop for £17.49 / $22.99 / AU$30.35. For all of those cosmetics, that’s an easy done deal.
Where to find the Ice Spice NPC in Fortnite
Ice Spice’s appearance in Fortnite doesn’t end with her cosmetics, as she’s set to take over the Shark Island POI and turn it into Ice Isle. When she makes it into the game on Thursday, November 14, you’ll be able to find her here in the newly-built shopping mall where, if you can defeat her in combat, she’ll join your team for the game and offer you her Ice Spice Grappler (which gives you the icy feet effect when used) and Ice Spice’s Rifle.
Taking her down could be of a significant advantage to you in collecting your victory royale, and you’d make the perfect double team if you were also dressed as Ice Spice. It’ll be the funniest dub of your life.
