MAFS UK stars Amy and Luke accidentally confirm state of marriage with major new post

Amy Kenyon was a wildcard bride and arrived late to the E4 show, and fans weren’t hopeful for her marriage as she declared Luke Debono gave her ‘the ick’ just moments after they tied the knot

Married At First Sight UK star Amy Kenyon has given a huge hint she’s still with her husband Luke Debono.

The wedding planner from Blackburn was a late arrival to the show, and surprised fans when she and new husband Luke didn’t get off to the best start, Despite being put together by relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling, Amy complained Luke gave her “the ick” just moments after they tied the knot, because he was being too kind to her.

The couples on the show are forced to keep quiet about the state of their relationships until the series finale has aired on E4, but Amy gave fans a huge hint that she and Luke were still together. Taking to her Instagram Story, she told her followers that she had been the victim of a crime while in Manchester. “Hi everyone, I had my phone stolen in Manchester on Saturday and I have very limited access to my socials. Bare with me and I’ll be back soon,” she wrote.

Amy then gave fans an update, as she said she had secured a temporary phone. “I have a new temporary number, this is the quickest way to contact me as I can only get on her on safari atm and have no clue how to use it. Friends & Fam direct message so I can send,” she wrote.

However, it was Luke’s own post about his wife’s phone that prompted fans to speculate they were still together. “My wife Amy has had her phone stolen. Please bear with. Thank you for understanding,” he wrote. Luke then shared a photo of him and Amy in a scene from Married At First Sight, as he added a cryptic caption. “What is difficult will make us better,” he wrote.

Amy has a history with MAFS UK, as it was revealed she previously dated Arthur Poremba, but called off the relationship when she successfully landed a place on this year’s show. According to The Sun, Amy and Arthur dated after last year’s series finished, and had been “messaging each other” for a while, but their romance fizzled out when she signed up to this year’s show.

Amy and Luke’s marriage hasn’t been easy sailing, as just moments after they tied the knot, she complained to her bridesmaids that he was giving her “the ick” because of his affection and compliments. She then discovered from his best man that the groom used to be a butler in the buff, and Amy confessed she felt “uncomfortable” with his past. However, she put her doubts aside after a chat with her pals, and the couple jetted off on honeymoon where they really hit it off.
