BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Jamie Borthwick declares love for co-star as he plants sweet kiss

Jamie Borthwick was left declaring his love for one of his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars as she offered an update on their latest week on the show.

The EastEnders actor has a very triumphant weekend in the BBC One dance contest's famous ballroom as he recieved a near-perfect score from the judges with his matador-inspired paso doble routine.

Dressed in black and white as a bullfighter while performing to the flamenco song Malaguena by Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona with his partner Michelle Tsiakkas.

Craig Revel Horwood had a rare moment of praise for the pair, while Anton Du Beke said, “You will never dance a better dance than that; you were brilliant," before they were awarded 39 points out of a possible 40.

Elsewhere, Wynne Evans and Katya Jones have performed a “beautiful” and bouncy quickstep as they made their return to the ballroom after the pair apologised for a "silly joke" that saw pro dancer Katya move opera singer Wynne's hand from her waist last week.

They were awarded 33 points, with Craig providing criticism, saying the performance was "dishevelled in places", despite Motsi Mabuse calling it "exquisite".

And it was Katya who was sharing the update as she took to Instagram with a string of snaps, including a sweet photo of her being planted a kiss on each cheek by Wynne and Jamie.

She went on to caption the post: "My weekend was colourful! These two are an absolute joy! I’m so glad they’ve got each other and will be dancing again next week! @wynneevans @jamie_b10."

The trio were seen in the photos having a left behind-the-scenes of the latest live show on Saturday night (October 19), while Katya also shared pictures from her and Wynne's latest performance, which helped see them through to week six of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series.

Responding to the post, Jamie simply wrote: "Love ya!" before Katya's fans and followers were quick to respond with their own love and support.
