BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola declares love to co-star and famous pal after joint message

by · Manchester Evening News

Vito Coppola has been seen sharing his love for his Strictly Come Dancing co-star and her new famous pal - who has been trying to have a say in his routines in recent weeks.

As fans know, the Italian dancer is back competing in the BBC One dance contest this year alongside actress Sarah Hadland and the pair have returned to training this week after making it through to another week of the 2024 season.

Sarah and Vito wore matching colourful pink and yellow outfits for their latest performance, a Samba to Do It Do It Again by Rafaella Carrà, over the weekend.

While Sarah was called a "force" by Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas hailed her as "an absolute charm to watch", some Strcitly fans felt the actress and the Italian dancer weren't fairly rewarded for their efforts despite a very respectable 32 points out of a possible 40.

Luckily, fans voted in their droves and Sarah and Vito made it through to Strictly's upcoming Halloween special, which will take place during the next live show on Saturday night (October 26), where they'll perform the first Argentine Tango of the 20th-anniversary series to Ready Or Not by Fugees.

But ahead of their next performance, Sarah's friend and former Miranda co-star Miranda Hart has once again had her say. Comedian and actress Miranda, who starred in her self-titled sitcom from 2009 until 2015 alongside 53-year-old Sarah who played best pal Stevie Sutton, offers her support each week and adds her suggestions as a 'co-choreographer' to Vito.

In her latest video, she was joined by a special guest - Strictly It Takes Two host Janette Manrara. While the dancer and presenter was trying to show Miranda some classic Argentine Tango moves, Miranda was adding her own spin.

Alongside the post on Instagram, Miranda wrote: "I tried to get some help with your Argentine Tango this week @hadderstime @vitocoppola but I don’t think she knew what she was talking about….. #strictly @bbcstrictly."

And Vito was quick to respond as he tried to join in with Miranda's schtick. He replied: "Heeeeey hello you Twoooo. Ok perfect. Let’s use all of them. I am sure the judges will see a kind of style never seen before. So definitely it’s about legs.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH. We will definitely apply your advice as always. (Btw I don’t know who is Janette..never seen before but she seems quite coordinated so let’s take some of her suggestions as well… ahahahah). Love you two. Thank youuuuuuuu."
