Coleen Rooney say 'it's rubbish' as she issues I'm A Celebrity 2024 denial
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsColeen Rooney has clapped back at 'rubbish' claims about her upcoming time in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The TV personality broke her silence on heading Down Under as she was confirmed in the line-up for the 2024 series.
The 38-year-old is one of 10 stars who have been announced as part of the ITV reality show's latest line-up with days to go until they swap their lives of luxury for time in the jungle camp with their new campmates.
The 2024 turn of the hit ITV reality show will be premiering on Sunday, November 17, at 9pm, with a 105-minute special before airing every night - except on a Saturday - until December 8 when the final is expected to take place.

But who is in line to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle this year? Among those joining Coleen Down Under is former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and McFly star Danny Jones.
And Coleen, who is married to former Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney, has issued a message on Instagram to share her reasons for taking part on the show. She said: "They've asked me for so many years now. I've always said no and put it off because the kids have been young and I've had quite a lot on.
"But this year, I thought, I quite fancy doing it. I would like to experience something different, do something for myself, meet new people. I'm looking forward to doing the trials."
Speaking of the trials, the mum-of-four - who shares sons Kai, Kit, Klay and Cass with football manager Wayne - set the record straight on reports she would be exempt from the Bushtucker trials. She said: "There's been a lot of news saying I can't do trials because of certain illnesses, but I can confirm I can do every trial so I'm not excluded for any. That was just a load of rubbish."

Addressing leaving her children for up to four weeks if she makes it to the end of the series in December, Coleen added: "I am looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong. I'm really anxious about leaving the kids. That's been my biggest thing. I've come to terms with it. I've planned and prepped.
"I've got an army of family and friends all helping out with the kids so they are going to be fine. They are probably going to have a great time while I'm away."
And she was quickly flooded with support. Paris Fury commented: "Can only imagine how anxious you’re feeling but the kids will be fine and good on you!! Good luck babe." Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward replied: "Good luck Darling go and smash it and show everyone what an amazing lady you are I can’t wait to watch you can’t wait for everyone to see how beautiful inside and out you are."
Reality star Charlotte Dawson said: "Soooooo excited you’re gonna be amazing! True kweeeeen." Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney shared: "Good on you babes. You are gonna be brilliant." Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey added: "Gorgeous girl. So excited to watch you."
