On Wednesday, Sam Fender fans were sent into pandemonium after the Co-Op Live teased a Manchester date. An image of the singer was projected onto the side of the venue with Fender's website hinting at more information to come with a cryptic countdown clock.

The photo of Fender was tweeted without a caption but instead the eyes emoji by the Co-Op Live on X, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday afternoon (October 16). Many excited fans took the comment sections of the post on X, with one fan saying: "Do us a favour and wait till I’ve been paid."
