Greggs festive bake day confirmed

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Greggs has revealed when its Christmas bake will go on sale in the festive season.

The hugely popular bakery will be putting out the festive twists on its regular menu. Greggs fans don't have long to wait until they can pick up a Christmas treat.

And among the many items on this year's menu is the Yuletide take on the Greggs staple, the Steak Bake. The Festive Bake puts a twist on the classic steak variety, featuring crumb-topped pastry filled with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, and bacon, which is then covered in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, the Mirror reports.

Now the high street bakery has revealed when people will be able to get their hands on the upcoming seasonal menu. And if you think Christmas comes earlier each year you wouldn't be wrong.

You might have scarcely got the pumpkin spice latte stains out of your coat, but won't have to wait long for Greggs' Christmas menu. That's because the bakery has announced that the Festive Bake will be available from November 7, meaning that fans can get hold of one this weekend.

However, if you're after a vegan option you'll have to wait one more day as the vegan version will be available from November 8. The Festive Bake will be joined by other seasonal items including a Christmas Lunch Baguette and a Festive Flatbread, which are already available.

There are also drinks options including a Gingerbread Latte or a Gingerbread Flat White. Though the jury is still out on what exactly the difference is between a latte and a flat white, if there even is one.

Those with a sweet tooth also have plenty of options as well. The festive menu will feature Chocolate and Hazelnut Flavour Doughnut as well as a Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbread.
