Helen Flanagan 'not ready' as she addresses daughter's 'change' amid praise for solo move
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsHelen Flanagan as admitted she's not ready as she opened up about her daughter's 'change' after enjoying some time together. The actress has previously told how she likes to spend one-on-one time with all three of her children - Matilda, Delilah and Charlie.
While she's now juggling time with her children with her ex-fiancée Scott Sinclair following their split in 2022 after 13 years together, Helen has shared how she's still keen to get some quality time with her children individually. This time, it was Matilda's turn and taking to Instagram, Helen, 34, shared a string of pictures of the pair as they dressed up in gorgeous outfits for a dinner out together.
The mum-of-three looked gorgeous as she wore a vibrant red dress with sparkling mesh sleeves as she laughed and smiles alongside her eldest child, who looked pretty in a matching dress to her mum but in an angelic white.

Opening up alongside the post, former Coronation Street star Helen said: "My kids have been away for October half term with their daddy. I had Matilda on her own though for a few days, I think it’s so nice to have one to one bonding time with each of the kids on their own. I wanted to do the same with Delilah when I dropped Matilda off but their daddy wanted them all which is fair I guess as I have them all the time.
"I wanted to take Matilda to Paris for the weekend but the flights were just so expensive for two nights and to be honest we just had the best time ever at home just us two and it’s not about taking them somewhere fancy it’s about just spending quality time with them where they have all your undivided attention and they feel really loved."
She continued: "This was nice for us as I suppose there has been changes with me finding someone and it was a really big thing for me to introduce someone to my children as my children are so precious. Matilda still slept in my bed with Delilah before I had a boyfriend. So making her stay in her own room was a thing and it was just nice for us to have time together and she knows she is forever mummy’s number one along with Delilah and Charlie. We were going out for dinner here and I just had my hair down and she was trying to mess it up."

Helen, who shot to fame playing Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, went on to share more pictures of the pair, this time in their PJs as they enjoyed a day in together. It is then when she explained: "At the beginning of the year Matilda had Bells Palsy as well when we were in Bali and I had to give her steroids to make her better and that’s made everything change and I don’t think I’m ready for the hormones yet.
"So nice to have this one to one time with her as she’s the eldest I always feel like she has to be the good one as Delilah and Charlie can be little terrors x We did lots of nice autumn walks, Matilda wanted you to go ice skating and to get stick on nails from Claire’s."
And fans were quick to respond with love and praise for the former soap star. @k.wojciechowska123 said: "You are a fantastic mother Helen." @nancy.lock.5 commented: "That's beautiful Mummy and daughter bonding." @sammyjane686 wrote: "So lovely mum and daughter time, needs to be done once in a while."
