A heartfelt tribute has been shared by a close friend of Liam Payne, who recently died at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16. Aside from tributes being paid to the talented singer and doting father from Wolverhampton, a series of sketches showcasing Payne's artistic talents have now been unveiled in a poignant post.

Payne had relocated to Florida with his girlfriend, 25-year-old influencer Kate Cassidy, and was awaiting a US visa renewal. In the days leading up to his untimely death, he and Cassidy were in South America, where they attended a concert by Payne's former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan in Buenos Aires.

The journey, initially planned for five days, extended to two weeks before Cassidy returned home alone. The loss of Payne has caused an outpouring of grief from family, friends, and One Direction fans alike. Numerous tributes over the past 10 days have surfaced on social media, remembering and honouring the well-loved member of the former boy band, including his never-before-seen sketches.

"Over the years you became part of my family. It's hard to say that people in this industry become true best friends as lives are always busy and lots of people come and go, but you were an exception. Always there for me, always present, always kind.

"You had the biggest heart, the cheekiest laugh and were so funny. I would always look forward to seeing you cos I knew I'd be laughing all day. I'm so so sorry this world let you down. Me, Cat and the kids will miss you forever. I hope you know how much joy you gave people.
