Rochelle Humes admits 'world would fall apart' as she addresses huge Marvin decision

by · Manchester Evening News

Rochelle Humes admitted her "432world would fall apart" while discussing the possibility of more children with husband Marvin.

This Morning star Rochelle confesses she will “always be broody” but is hesitant of expanding their family anymore. She already shares three children - Alaia,11, Valentina, seven, and four-year-old Blake - with JLS singer Marvin.

Rochelle, 35, says she feels “really sad” every year when she realises the children are growing up. But having another child, something she admits she would welcome, could throw their home life into chaos.

Speaking to Closer, she said: “If you asked me, I’d say I want children forever, because I get really sad every year that they grow up. Three we can handle, but if we chucked a fourth one in there, I don’t know, the world would fall apart a little bit.

“I will always be broody, so I can’t be the one to make that decision.”

Their busy home life hasn’t stopped the pair from having a busy career however. Marvin currently presents on KISS radio and has only recently finished touring with JLS.

Rochelle meanwhile has become a favourite with viewers on This Morning since becoming a guest presenter and runs her own lifestyle brand, Little Coco. She also owns her own management company, RH Group, which is responsible for 39-year-old Marvin.

The couple, who have been together for over 14 years now, say they strive to maintain a healthy balance between work and home. Rochelle says part of this is agreeing not to “talk shop” after work.

She says by 5pm, when the children are having dinner, they leave any work-related issues for the following day. And she acknowledges the importance of date nights together, making sure they squeeze in a romantic meal together, even if at home.

She added: “Sometimes it’s just when the kids are in bed, we sit down and make something together. We listen to nice music while we’re doing it, have a bottle of wine, but it’s quality time, our phones are on charge upstairs.”
