Cadbury has launched a new retro selection box this Christmas and it's a trip down memory lane

Nothing says Christmas quite like a selection box and few brands are as popular as Cadbury.

But there's another reason shoppers are snapping up the newest offering from the chocolate maker - it takes them on a trip down memory lane.

The 200 Year Selection Box is a new product celebrating two centuries of the iconic brand.

And it's packed with a variety of the much-loved bars, from vintage classics like the recently re-launched Top Deck, to modern favourites like Cadbury Caramel.

Billed as 'the ultimate indulgence box for snacking, sharing and reminiscing during the Christmas season', they're all big bars, ranging from 95g to 110g.

The original branding on the Fruit & Nut and the yellow wrapper on the Caramel bar will bring back memories for those who have enjoyed the Cadbury treats over the years.

The wrappers date back to 1915 for the Dairy Milk, while Fruit & Nut is from 1988, Top Deck from 1993 and Caramel from 1998.

The retail price for the selection box is £8, but you can get it on offer at Tesco, where it's £6.50 with a Clubcard between now and December 27.

It's not the only new Cadbury product being launched this Christmas. There are another four new products on the shelves this year, including Cadbury Mini Puds, a Mini Snowballs Bar, a new Cadbury Dairy Milk Creamy Advent Calendar, and a Toblerone Truffles & Tiny’s Advent Calendar.

And we've already reported how Dairy Milk Chocolate Coins, which disappeared from shelves in 2004, are returning for a second consecutive Christmas.
