by · Manchester Evening News

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has been branded a 'dreamboat' by her co-star as she opened up about how a very personal struggle can affect her day-to-day life.

The actress has often been open about her anxiety struggles, even revealing how she was misdiagnosed as a child. Samia will sometimes be seen telling her social media followers if she is having a bad day or sharing how she keeps zen such as doing some yoga in her dressing room.

In a recent post, Samia, who is known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, rounded up some of the events she'd been to in the space of one week including the star-studded National Television Awards and a preview of Marks and Spencer's Christmas goodies.

Alongside the Instagram carousel, Samia wrote: "A few from this week in pics... 1 & 2 @marksandspencerfood Extra special Christmas event.. I’ve yet to eat anything I don’t LOVE from the whole range. 3 & 4 NTAs prep and ready. 5, 6 & 7 Girls night in with the best ones.. thanks @jodie_fitnessmadfoodie for going above and beyond for us as per!"

Samia's Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Dutting, who is known for playing Weatherfield's Abi Webster, was quick to respond, writing: "You’re a dreamboat." alongside a crying face emoji and string of yellow love hearts.
