Lionel Richie announces huge UK tour including Manchester Co-op Live date - how to get tickets

International music icon Lionel Richie has announced a string of UK and Ireland dates including a Manchester show. The American singer-songwriter known for his hits 'Hello' and 'All Night Long' will play arenas up and down the country next May and June as part of his 'Say Hello To The Hits' European headline tour.

The tour kick kick off in Belfast's SSE Arena on 31 May, before heading to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on June 4. He'll also play London, Sheffield and Birmingham before bring the UK leg of the tour to a close at Manchester's Co-op Live on June 12.

Co-op Live members will have access to a presale at 10am on Wednesday, 23 October. Tickets will go on general sale starting Friday, 25 October at 10am via Ticketmaster here.

The ‘Say Hello To The Hits’ tour will see a new production, never seen before in the UK & Europe. Following the five UK arena dates Richie will continue into Europe for a summer of live shows.

As one of the most celebrated figures in music history, his career spans over four decades, producing unforgettable anthems like ’Say You Say Me’, ‘We Are The World’, ‘Easy’ and many more.

Celebrated for his world-class showmanship and ability to connect with audiences across generations, his headline performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2015 drew the festival’s largest crowd of the year.

In September 2023, Richie concluded the first run of his sold out 20-city 'Sing a Song All Night Long' arena tour featuring special guests - one of the best-selling bands of all time - Earth, Wind & Fire. Richie will be accompanied by another support act for his UK shows.
