BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'it had to' as Vito Coppola addresses Sarah Hadland announcement
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsStrictly Come Dancing fans have been left saying it 'had to happen' as Vito Coppola addressed his and Sarah Hadland's latest announcement.
It was confirmed over the weekend that the pair had made it through to week eight of the BBC One dance contest after impressing both the judges and viewers watching at home with their latest performance during the first-ever 'Icons Week'.
Actress Sarah and Italian dancer Vito were seen dancing a Cha Cha Cha to Madonna's 1989 track, Like a Prayer, with Sarah channelling the 'Queen of Pop' in a short blonde wig and her famous cone bra.

It was later confirmed that Sarah and Vito had been giving the backing of the public and had made it through to week eight of the popular dance programme, which will take place live this Saturday night (November 8).
And it's now been revealed that Sarah and Vito will be performing an American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small, which fans of Miranda star Sarah will know is synonymous with her sitcom character, created by her friend and co-star Miranda Hart.
After the news was revealed alongisde the other dances set to be performed this week, fans rushed to respond. @xtaylorlyth screamed: "SARAH HADLAND DOING PROUD!!!!!" @01jasmine_ said: "Sarah dancing to Proud FINALLY." @thegreatbighuzzah commented: "Whoever at Strictly decided to let Sarah dance to proud this week has made us feel proud. Thank you!"

Vito has also addressed their choice. Sharing a video of himself and Sarah strutting down the corridors of Strictly spin-off It Takes Two studios after being presented with pictures of singer Heather Small's face on sticks from show host Fleur East, the dancer said: "We are sooooo excited to dance this song this week.
"We do really hope to make everyone Proud. It’s celebration, positivity, optimism, good energy and beautiful spirit. It’s Freedom and it’s Love! What have we done today to make all proud? We Daaaaaanced… #teamtiramisu + @heathersmallmpeople."
