Next week's Coronation Street is set to be filled with drama as one resident makes a shocking confession and another beloved character is rushed to hospital.

In addition, a potential romance is hinted at between two Weatherfield favourites while another character finds themselves in danger. Here are the four biggest spoilers for next week's Coronation Street...

Shock admission

In a surprising turn of events, Dee-Dee Bailey, portrayed by Channique Sterling-Brown, wakes up from a nightmare following her traumatic experience with Joel Deering. Later, she abruptly leaves a meeting with a new client before having a breakdown.

Hospital dash

Meanwhile, Ken Barlow, played by William Roache, returns from his holiday and informs his family that due to financial constraints, he will have to let go of his carer Cassie Plummer, played by Claire Sweeney. The family, who have been suspicious of Cassie's intentions, breathe a sigh of relief, reports the Liverpool Echo.

However, later in the week, Ken has a change of heart when he suddenly feels unwell and offers Cassie an extra pound per hour to take her job back.

Ken experiences a nosebleed and confesses he feels terrible as he is rushed to hospital.

Ken's devoted daughter, Tracy Barlow, portrayed by Kate Ford, backed by her family, tells Cassie to pack her bags and stop leeching off Ken, vowing to take care of her father herself. However, the situation takes a concerning turn when Ken experiences a nosebleed and confesses he feels terrible as he is rushed to hospital.

Whether Ken is alright remains uncertain, but later in the week, spoilers reveal Steve McDonald, played by Simon Gregson, telling Cassie she's fired.

Romance 'sealed'

The following week sees DS Lisa Swain, portrayed by Vicky Myers, distressed as she forgets her late wife Becky's birthday and is reminded by their daughter, Betsy.

Distraught over forgetting such a significant date, Carla Connor, played by Alison King, finds Lisa drowning her sorrows at the pub and offers her company.

The next morning, Lisa wakes up on Carla's sofa with a hangover, leading Carla to confess to her nephew Ryan Connor that she has feelings for Lisa but feels overwhelmed. After being urged to pursue it, Carla comes home to find Lisa getting dressed. Will she make her move?

Character in danger

The upcoming week sees the release of Mason Radcliffe's, played by Luca Toolan, thuggish brothers without charge after their robbery on Tim and Sally Metcalfe.

Betsy suggests Mason lie and tell his malicious brothers that Tim was the one who reported them to the police. After bonding, Betsy flirts with Mason, but the mood is shattered when Matty arrives in his car.

Later in the week, Sally and Tim discover the word 'grass' spray-painted on their front door. Tim reassures Sally that he has reported Mason's brothers to the police.

However, the situation escalates when Mason and Betsy see Logan getting into Tim's taxi and alert Eileen Grimshaw of the potential danger.

Soon after, Logan instructs Tim to pull over, and Matty gets in the cab, indicating they intend to teach him a lesson. The question remains - will Tim be alright?
