John Krasinski To Star In JACK RYAN Movie For Amazon MGM Studios

John Krasinskiis set to star in aJack Ryanmovie that is being developed at Amazon MGM Studios. Krasinski played Ryan throughout four seasons of a great show. This movie will obviously continue the franchise and if successful, it could lead to more films.

Wendell Pierce, who starred alongside Krasinski in the series, will also star in the film with Michael Kelly in negotiations to reprise his role.

Andrew Bernstein, who was an executive producer and director on Season 2 of the Jack Ryan series, is set to direct from a script written by Aaron Rabin, who served as a co-executive producer and writer on Season 4 of the series.

I like Krasinski in the role of Jack Ryan, so I’m happy to see that he’s returning to the character, this time for a politically fueled action movie.

The film is produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg will executive produce alongside John Kelly and Carlton Cuse.
