Strange Darling—the critically acclaimed serial killer thriller starring Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner—is coming soon to digital streaming.

Written and directed by J.T. Mollner and featuring the cinematography debut of accalimed actor Giovanni Ribisi, Strange Darling opened in limited release in theaters on August 23.

Told in six chapters, Strange Darling is told out of sequence and begins with Chapter 3, where we see The Lady (Fitzgerald) running desperately through an open field. The Lady is being pursued by a man simply known as The Demon (Gallner), who is brandishing a shotgun and is clearly determined to kill her.

As the chapters are presented and the story unfolds, we learn that The Lady is running away from a lurid erotic encounter with The Demon that has gone horribly awry. As the story further unfolds, it becomes shockingly apparent that the story of Strange Darling isn’t all that it seems.

Is there a different side of the Final Girl that we could show in a story that starts where most horror movies end?’ and it blossomed into this.”
