Billie Eilish started her career as a winner on Billboard’s rock charts. It didn’t take long for her to cross over and find success on some of the pop lists as well, as her music appealed to a wide audience that loves both genres.

The superstar didn’t hit No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking until very recently. Despite churning out smashes that the entire world loves for more than half a decade, the singer couldn’t quite reach the summit on that radio roster, though she came very close. Once she claimed her first champion on that list, however, it seems that the doors opened, and now she’s earned another.

“Birds of a Feather” flies to No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay tally this week. The single improves from third place to first, reaching the highest rung for the first time in its seventeenth frame on the ranking of the most successful tracks on radio stations that play a more mature style of pop known simply as adult pop.

Eilish doubles her total number of rulers on that ranking this time around as “Birds of a Feather” hits No. 1. She scored her inaugural leader just earlier this year, and just a few months later, she’s snagged another.

In March of 2024, Eilish reached the No. 1 spot for the first time with “What Was I Made For?” from the movie Barbie. That single debuted on the radio roster in August 2023, and it spent more than half a year before it finally dominated.

Eilish ends Hozier’s winning streak atop the Adult Pop Airplay chart. The Irish rocker’s “Too Sweet” steps down to No. 2 after spending a dozen frames at No. 1.

The young singer-songwriter has sent nine tracks to the radio ranking throughout her time as a star, with half of them–five songs–reaching the top 10. Her breakout smash “Bad Guy” peaked at No. 6, which stood as her high point for a while. Both “Everything I Wanted” and “Therefore I Am” stalled at No. 5 on the list.
