Liam Payne died yesterday (October 16) after a fall from his hotel balcony in Argentina. The singer was just 31 years old.

Little is known about the situation that led to the musician’s death, but no matter what happened, millions of fans around the world remain devastated following the tragedy. As is often the case whenever a beloved artist musical passes, those who loved him have turned to the music he made during his lifetime for comfort, and they’ve been buying some of his biggest hits in tribute.

Payne currently claims half a dozen spots on the U.K. iTunes songs chart. All of his singles returned to the list of the top-selling tunes on that platform in that nation—his home country—quickly after news of his death spread across social media.

At the time of writing, Payne’s highest-rising single on the U.K. iTunes ranking is “Teardrops,” which he shared this past March. The tune turned out to be his final release, and it’s a fitting title for such a cut. “Teardrops” currently lands at No. 7 on the sales roster.

Payne scores a second top 40 hit on the U.K. iTunes chart with his Rita Ora collaboration. “For You (Fifty Shades Freed)” rises to No. 38.

Three more songs by Payne find space inside the top 100 on the sales list. “Strip That Down,” which features rapper Quavo and which may be the former One Direction star’s biggest solo smash, is up to No. 51. An acoustic take on “Teardrops” appears a few slots further down at No. 58. Finally, “Familiar” with J Balvin narrowly enters the upper half of the tally, hitting No. 95.

One final song by Payne sits inside the lower half of the iTunes chart. “Polaroid,” which saw the singer serve as a featured vocalist alongside Lennon Stella on producer Jonas Blue’s single, is all the way down at No. 194, though it may climb in the coming hours.

In addition to his solo work, at least 10 One Direction songs also appear on the U.K. iTunes tally. Payne’s “Teardrops” is still his highest-ranking hit at present, but throughout the day, the ranking could change, and at least one track by the boy band could hit the top 10. At the time of writing, the group’s “Story of My Life” makes a home at No. 12, standing out as the biggest from the outfit.
