Reverse Horror Title ‘Carrion’ Coming to Mobile Devices This Month [Trailer]

by · Bloody Disgusting

After conquering PC and consoles (with PlayStation 5 being the last), Phobia Game Studio’s Carrion has a new target: mobile. Publisher Devolver Dgiital and developer Phobia Game Studio have announced that Carrion is coming to iOS and Android. While no release date has officially been announced yet, according to the App Store listing, there is an “expected” release date of October 31. Pre-registration is now available, with a demo being available that allows you to buy the full version of the game.

If you haven’t played Carrion by now (and you should because we say so), it’s a “reverse horror” game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. You stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility as you look to break out. As you progress through the facility, you’ll find upgrades that allow you to grow and evolve as you tear down the underground facility on your path to retribution.

Oh, and that 2-LP set of the soundtrack by Cris Velasco? It’s still very much available over at Materia Collective.

Carrion is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
