Laura Anderson has given her followers an update as she rushed her one-year-old daughter Bonnie to A&E.

The former Love Island star, who is now a radio host on Capital Breakfast, had to be replaced this morning by influencer Jilly Isabella, as she took little Bonnie to hospital.

Sharing a picture of the tot on Instagram, Laura penned: "Feeling very grateful after a dash to a&e last night. Luckily enough I knew what a febrile convulsion was from being crew but my goodness it's a different story when it's your child and you have to drive to the hospital yourself.

"Also hats off to all the parents dealing with severely sick children and to the strength these children have, I do not know how you cope. You can let me know if you want em to explain what happened as its not really what I thought."

According to the NHS, febrile convulsions are also known as febrile fits or fever seizures. They can occur in children who have a rapid increase in body temperature and may be the first sign of a child developing a fever.

During a febrile convulsion the child may have abnormal breathing, jerking movements or become stiff. Sometimes they will become blue or froth at the mouth. Usually this lasts only for less than five minutes.

However, it appears that little Bonnie is ok as Laura shared a picture of her in her buggy wrapped up warm.

Laura shares little Bonnie with her ex-partner, actor Gary Lucy.

Last month, she opened up on being a single parent as she told her 1.5M Instagram followers that it is 'impossible' to have everything.

She said: "Hey guys so I was just having a little think right, I used to totally be that person that would think you can have it all, the career, the family, the partner, like look your best but I've decided it's impossible."

The mum-of-one added: "You cannot have it all, especially as a single mum like there's no way your boss, your family, your friends, your partner, your kids, your dog are all being fed like metaphorically speaking of course and I think if anyone tells you otherwise that they have all of that sorted then they're lying."
