ECO MINDED: Stella McCartney revealed another horse-themed campaign on Thursday for its latest vegan bag, the Stella Ryder, featuring Australian star Sarah Snook, who played Shiv Roy on the HBO hit series “Succession.”
Inspired by the shape of the nape and back of a horse, McCartney’s favorite animal, the top-handle style comes with a curved silhouette and is made in Italy using recycled and grape-based leather alternatives. The bag made its debut during the brand’s spring 2025 show in Paris.
Shot in Spring Farm Dressage in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley, Snook posed alongside majestic horses, sporting McCartney’s tailoring, knitwear and the Miracle Dress, a signature style that will be relaunching soon, and held a Stella Ryder bag in black.
For her performance in “Succession,” Snook scored a Primetime Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Critics Choice Award. Following the conclusion of the TV series, she devoted herself to “The Picture of Dorian Gray” on London’s West End, where she played 26 characters in a solo show based on Oscar Wilde’s Faustian tale. The production will make its Broadway debut in March next year.
