BeardMeatsFood YouTuber felt 'confident' - until he saw restaurant's burger stack
by Laycie Beck · NottinghamshireLiveA competitive eater was left defeated by a burger challenge in Mansfield Woodhouse after he was unable to finish the gigantic burger stack. Adam Moran, better known by his YouTube account name BeardMeatsFood, regularly posts videos of himself taking on various food challenges.
He has recently visited the Tap Haus in Mansfield where he faced a huge burger stack that was incredible to look at, let alone try to eat. He and his friend, James Smith, both attempted the challenge which had never been completed before, and, despite their best efforts, the challenge remains unbroken.
However, if Adam had finished the burger he would have got his meal for free, instead of paying the £55, as well as a free T-shirt. The pair can be seen dismantling the burger in the video, which appears to include tomatoes, beef patties, sausages, eggs, bacon, pickles, cheese and so much more, all kept together on a skewer stick.

As well as the burger the meal comes with a giant portion of chips and a big bowl of coleslaw. It wasn't long before the pair could be seen struggling with the meal. If that wasn't challenging enough, the meal has to be completed within 30 minutes.
Speaking to his viewers, the YouTuber said: "I felt reasonably confident coming into it until I saw it come out the kitchen." His burger had almost vanished by the end, but there were still quite a lot of chips, coleslaw and the remaining layers of burger left as the clock ran out.
However, he clearly had a separate stomach for pudding as it wasn't long before the pair were joking about ordering desserts. In recognition of the honourable attempt, the staff treated each of them to a beer stein to mark the occasion.
