Costa Coffee releases Christmas menu with Nutcracker surprise - is your favourite returning?

It’s that wonderful time of year again - Costa Coffee has revealed its latest and greatest Christmas-themed offerings, ranging from brand-new recipes and drinks to fresh cup designs and festive nicknacks, destined to be the perfect stocking stuffer for coffee lovers. While most of the festivities will be in-store from November 7th, some of the new winter treats are available this week.

Among the newest additions is a Caramel Nutcracker flavour available as hot or iced Lattes or hot chocolate. It boasts a blend of caramel and nutty note to encapsulate the holiday magic, and will be available in-store as well as Costa Express machines.

Festive Spice Lattes are also joining the shelves in-store and at these machines as both hot and iced Lattes, hot chocolates and a mocha. What’s more, the Festive Spice syrup is suitable for vegans and can be added to a range of drinks as a festive customisation.

The beloved Gingerbread and Cream Latte, along with a new iced version, and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate are returning. This time with an added sweet treat in the form of a free mini gingerbread biscuit or Terry’s Chocolate Orange Segment. The Gingerbread and Cream Latte will also be available in an instant version with Costa’s new limited edition Barista Creations mixes sachets.

Black Forest Hot Chocolate received such an incredible reception last year it’s being brought back with a new frappe version and instead of waiting for the holidays, Costa Club members can get their Black Forest fill from this week.

Costa’s limited edition festive takeaways cup designs for this year have also been revealed, adorned with pink, blue and purple waves and little figures capturing the immaculate vibes of festive catch-ups. Adding some festive sparkle are Costa’s new take-home items ranging from a new Santa-themed ceramic mug to Christmas tree decorations and three brand new keyring designs.

On the food side of the menu, Costa is introducing a new Brie and Cranberry Toastie alongside the annual classics Pigs and Blankets Toastie and the Turkey and Trimmings Toastie. Among the to-go options is the Brie, Bacon and Chilli Jam Panini, the hearty Hog Roast Toastie and the Turkey Feast Sandwich.

The sweet treats include a fresh Chocolate and Caramel Nutcracker Cake offering layers of chocolate sponge, caramel frosting and hazelnut frosting. There's also the new Berry Red Velvet Mini Loaf which mixes chocolate and vanilla mini loaves with gooey raspberry sauce in the centre.

Some new vegan offerings include a Billionaire’s Slice with a crispy base, caramel head and chocolate and golden edible decorations. There’s also a new Winter Berry Crumble, bursting with raspberry and blackcurrant filling, within a crumbly shortbread base.

A new gingerbread man is entering the shelves too, with a charming snowman iced with fondant sure to delight customers. Lastly, it wouldn’t be a festive season without a Bakewell Tart, finished with half a glace cherry and holly leaf decor.
