A Loose Women icon has expressed interest in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! but warned that one thing might bore her viewers. Activist Katie Piper spoke exclusively to the Daily Star at the Pride of Britain Awards, sharing her thoughts on potentially joining the ITV show.

Although she's keen to watch from the comfort of her own sofa, the 41-year-old fears that personal health issues may limit her jungle experience and 'disappoint' viewers. "We like watching that at home but I think I've got so many medical problems I would be so boring in there," she told the publication.

"I would be removed from every trial under medical grounds and the audience will be disappointed with that, so I think I will watch it from the sofa." Despite this, fans can look forward to seeing Katie on their screens soon as she prepares to launch her new prison docuseries.

"I've just finished filming a new series in New Orleans where I go over there into women's prisons," she added. "It was really hard-hitting as there were women with very long sentences and these women are mothers, sisters, aunties.

"There are so many nuances and it's really complicated hence why it ended up being a five-part series but hopefully, the audience will feel the same conflicting series I felt." When asked about other shows she'd be interested in joining, Katie answered: "Well, I already did Strictly which is great, they are all here tonight and I love doing Loose Women.

"I love doing the mixture, with the daytime fun stuff, my breakfast show, and then the more serious documentaries, so I'm happy with what I'm doing at the moment."

Reflecting on her Strictly journey in 2018, she added: "Sadly for me, it was like blink and you miss it, as I was only in the until week four. My husband is actually more of a mover than me, he is definitely the better dancer."
