Is Kiara ready to finalise deal for supernatural comedy?

Actress Kiara Advani who is gearing up for the release of upcoming films in 2025 starting with ‘Game Changer’, followed by ‘War 2’, has been spotted at Dinesh Vijan’s office in Mumbai.

Now as per the latest report by Pinkvilla, Kiara Advani is discussing a standalone supernatural comedy featuring her in the titular role of ‘Devi’ with Maddock.

According to the report, Kiara is close to finalising a deal for a supernatural comedy titled Devi, produced by Maddock. While this horror-comedy will not be part of the ‘Stree’ Cinematic Universe, it is expected to kick off a new standalone franchise in the fantasy-comedy genre with supernatural elements. The report suggests that the tone of this franchise will differ from the existing one, and the makers are optimistic about its success.

The report further added that the film is scheduled to begin production by mid-2025 with a start-to-finish timeline, and Kiara is reportedly eager to dive into a new genre. It also revealed that Kiara is set to lead the project, with negotiations in their final stages, and an official announcement is expected soon.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani has a lineup of major projects ahead. Among them is War 2, where she stars alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, with Ayan Mukerji directing. Filming for the spy thriller is currently underway. Additionally, Kiara is set to appear in Don 3, sharing the screen with Ranveer Singh.
