Sequel in the making

Karunada Chakravarthy Dr Shivarajkumar said the sequel of Bhairathi Ranagal is in the making. Bhairathi Ranagal, a prequel to Mufti is set to arrive in theaters on November 15. A song – Ajnyatavasa – written by lyricist Dr V Nagendraprasad for the movie Bhairathi Ranagal was released on Friday at Dr Shivarajkumar’s residence. The movie is bankrolled by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the Geetha Pictures banner and it is directed by Narthan.

Dr Shivarajkumar said that he liked the character he played in Bhairathi Ranagal. “The sequel to Bhairathi Ranagal is in the making. Director Narthan narrated the script to me. My wife Geeta and I liked the script. We bankrolled the movie from our home banner. It is the second movie to be made under the Geetha Pictures banner. We have released the song - Ajnyatavasa - of Bhairathi Ranagal movie on Deepavali,’’ he said.

Narthan said that he is making arrangements to release the trailer of the movie on November 5. “The movie has come out well. I thank all the actors and technicians for their cooperation,’’ said Narthan. The movie also features Rukmini Vasanth and Devaraj.
